Tropical fish are usually from areas with warm water, these fish have more particular needs in regards to water quality, environmental conditions and feeding, but most of the breeds recommended on Fishcrown will be relatively hardy – once the basics are covered they will be easy to keep and fascinating to watch.

The beginner will soon want to move on to the more demanding breeds of fish which bring more excitement, Fishcrown will also provide a guide on how to keep species of tropical fish which require a more advanced understanding of keeping fish.
